Taxi Explosion Rocks Liverpool Women’s Hospital

A shocking blast tore through a taxi outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital at 10:59am today (Sunday, 14 November). Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a car explosion in the city centre.

One Dead, One Injured After Taxi Blast

Tragically, one person has died following the explosion. Another victim is in hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening. The taxi had just pulled up at the hospital moments before the blast went off.

Counter-Terror Police Lead Investigation

Police have not ruled anything out yet. Counter Terrorism officers are now heading the probe alongside Merseyside Police as they work to identify the cause of the explosion.
