Man Exposes Himself, Then Assaults Girl in Kent Woods
Kent Police are hunting a man who exposed himself to a teenage girl and boy before sexually assaulting the girl the very next day. The shocking attacks took place in a wooded area between Sutton Road and Latter Road in mid-June 2023.
Two Terrifying Days in the Woods
On a summer afternoon, a teenage girl and boy were walking along a footpath when a man suddenly exposed himself and performed an indecent act in front of them. Just 24 hours later, the same girl was sexually assaulted nearby.
Police Description of Suspect
The suspect is described as a muscular man with brown skin, aged between 20 and 40. He’s about six feet tall and was wearing blue jeans at the time of the attacks.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage
Detective Sergeant Matt Avery of the West Kent Vulnerability Investigation Team said: “We are working to establish the full circumstances and are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or a man matching this description to get in touch. We also urge residents and businesses nearby with CCTV, doorbell cameras or drivers with dashcams to review their footage.”
