Dangerous Mental Health Patient Flees North London Hospital – Police Urgently Hunt Absconder
Escaped While in Handcuffs
Detectives in Enfield are on high alert after Aaron Moore, 31, broke free from a Mental Health Unit. The manhunt is underway, and police warn the public: do not approach Moore. He is deemed dangerous.
Moore made his escape on Thursday, 20 June, around 3.30pm outside North Middlesex Hospital, Enfield, N18. Despite being handcuffed and escorted by three hospital staff, he bolted and vanished towards the A406.

- Light-skinned black male
- About 6ft tall, large/heavy build
- Last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black trainers
- Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia
- Has a history of violence
Last Known Movements
Moore’s escape triggered an urgent police operation. CCTV footage shows his last sighting. On Friday morning, 21 June, he withdrew a large sum of cash from Nationwide Building Society in N17 at 9.20am.
Detective Inspector Paul Ridley, leading the investigation, said: “Extensive efforts are being made by my team to locate this dangerous individual who is unlawfully at large. He has a history of violence, and his risk increases the longer he goes without medication, which he needs daily.”
