Teen Girl Threatened and Forced to Undress in Woods
A 15-year-old girl was targeted in a chilling incident near Stonyhurst on the morning of September 17th. Between 8:45am and 9:15am, a man lured her into a wooded area, then made threats and forced her to remove some clothing before fleeing the scene.
Police Arrest Two Men, But Both Released
Following a fast police probe, two men in their 40s from the local area were arrested on suspicion of kidnap. However, both suspects were soon released with no further action, as detectives continue their hunt for the real culprit.
Police Urge Public to Help Identify Suspect
The suspect is described as a slim white man in his 30s, about 5ft 10in tall, with short hair. He was last seen wearing a black hat, dark blue jacket, black trousers, and black trainers.
Detective Sergeant Paul Price, South CID, said: “We understand this incident has caused huge concern. While two men were arrested, they’ve now been ruled out. We’re urgently asking the public to help identify the individual seen in the EvoFit image.”
“If anyone was around Yarrow Valley or Coppull near the Spar store between 9am and 11:30am on September 17th, please check your CCTV or dashcam footage – it could be crucial.”
