One Year Mystery: Nazire Koreli Vanishes Near Welling Home

Disappearance Shrouded in Mystery

It’s been a whole year since 55-year-old Nazire Koreli went missing near her Welling home. Her family is desperate for answers and is pleading with the public to come forward with any information.

Last seen in September 2024, Nazire wasn’t reported missing until February 28, 2025. The Met Police have combed through her house and hundreds of hours of CCTV footage. A man in his 50s was even arrested for suspected murder on March 10, but he’s now out on bail as the investigation drags on.

Family’s Heartbreaking Plea

“My world stood still the day I discovered my mother was missing,” Nazire’s daughter said. “She was a beloved teacher and a pillar to her family – a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother. Not a day goes by without questions and pain. We need any information, no matter how small, that might bring us closure. Please, come forward.”

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley urged the public: “It’s been a year with no answers, but we remain hopeful Nazire will be found safe. If you saw her between September 2024 and March 2025, or know anything, contact us immediately. Nazire is described as slim, with light brown hair and olive skin.”

£20,000 Reward for Vital Clues

Crimestoppers is offering up to £20,000 for information that leads to Nazire’s whereabouts. The charity provides full anonymity and operates independently from the police.

Time is running out. This £20,000 reward lasts only three months. If you know anything, no matter how small, now’s the time to speak up and help bring Nazire home.
