Woman Stabbed in Broad Daylight at Basildon Hospital Car Park
A masked attacker struck a woman in the stomach during a terrifying robbery at Basildon University Hospital car park in Essex early yesterday morning. The victim was getting out of her car at around 6:40 AM when the man, dressed in a black balaclava, gloves, navy jogging bottoms, and dark clothes, launched the brutal assault.
Victim Sounds Car Horn to Raise Alarm
Despite being stabbed, the woman repeatedly sounded her car horn, drawing immediate attention to the shocking scene. The attacker fled on foot and remains at large. Fortunately, the woman’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and she is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Police Hunt Armed Masked Man
Essex Police have confirmed they have made no arrests yet and are actively investigating the stabbing. Officers are appealing to the public for any information or dashcam footage that could help catch the culprit. Witnesses are urged to contact Essex Police quoting incident number 272 of Monday, 15 July.
