RNLI Newhaven Lifeboat Station Calls for Brave Volunteers
The RNLI’s Newhaven Lifeboat Station is on the hunt for fearless volunteers to join their All Weather Lifeboat Crew or Inshore Lifeboat Crew. These teams are the lifeline for those in trouble between Beachy Head and Brighton.
Historic Station with a Proud Record
Since 1803, Newhaven has protected one of the busiest stretches of the South Coast. It boasts a state-of-the-art Severn class all-weather lifeboat and a team awarded 19 medals for bravery. This modern afloat station is ready for anything the sea throws at it.
Step Up and Save Lives
Volunteers will keep lifeboats ready at all times and crew them on daring rescue missions and rigorous exercises, all under the direction of the Helm. It’s a chance to be part of a life-saving legacy and make a real difference at sea.
