Man in 20s Brutally Assaulted Near Sweetapple Close
In the early hours of April 24, a man in his 20s was viciously attacked between 1:30am and 3am near Sweetapple Close. The victim suffered serious head injuries, including a fractured skull.
He was rushed to Salisbury District Hospital and stayed there for several days before being discharged. The pain continues as he recovers from the ordeal.
Police Hunt Attacker After ‘Nasty Assault’
Detective Sergeant Toni Nugent described the attack as “nasty” and revealed the victim has not been able to identify his attacker.
“He sustained a fractured skull and was taken to hospital following the incident and is continuing to suffer with pain as he recovers from his injuries.”
Witness Appeal: Police Seek CCTV, Dash Cam or Doorbell Footage
The investigation is ongoing. Police are calling on anyone who was in the area or who has CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the time to come forward.
