Burglary Shocker in Southsea: Tall Hooded Man Flees When Caught Red-Handed
Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a daring burglary attempt in Southsea on the night of Thursday, 19 September.
At around 10:30 PM, a masked man broke into a home on Percy Road. The intruder, described as tall and muscular with his hood up, was caught red-handed in the kitchen by the occupant. Spooked, he made a quick escape. So far, no items have been reported stolen.
Police Seek Eyewitnesses and CCTV Footage
Officers urge anyone who spotted a suspicious figure roaming Percy Road or nearby Manners Road that evening to step forward. They’re also keen on any CCTV, doorbell cam, or dashcam footage that could crack the case.
