Teen Attacked and Robbed in Dargavel Nighttime Assault
A 15-year-old boy was mugged and punched by a gang of hooded youths in Dargavel last Monday night.
Attack on Lochview Wynd
The victim was set upon by four or five males aged 15 to 20 at the junction of Lochview Wynd and Craigton Drive around 7.40pm on 28 November 2022. The group stole his mobile phone during the brutal assault.
Public Steps In, Teen Taken to Hospital
Bystanders rushed to help the injured youngster and quickly got him to the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Thankfully, he was treated and later released.
Police Hunt Hooded Suspects
Detective Constable James Campbell urged witnesses to come forward. “We are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who hasn’t spoken to us yet. If you have private CCTV or dash-cam footage, please get in touch.”
