Boxing Day Break-In Shocks Retford Hairdressers
A hair salon in Carolgate, Retford, was targeted in the early hours of Boxing Day. At around 1.50am, burglars forced open a locked side door and made off with multiple stolen items.
The owner discovered the damage later that morning, sparking an immediate police investigation.
Police Hunt Suspect Caught on Camera
Nottinghamshire Police have released an image of a man they want to question in connection with the break-in.
“This burglary happened after a day of festivities,” said PC Carl Forman. “Finding out your property has been burgled is deeply upsetting and can affect livelihoods.”
“This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by Nottinghamshire Police,” he added.
“We urge anyone who recognises the man in the picture to come forward.”
