Teen Robs 12-Year-Old Boy in Bilborough – Suspect, 15, Arrested
Police rushed to Wigman Road, Bilborough, after a 12-year-old boy was robbed at knifepoint on Tuesday night.
Phone Stolen in Broad Evening
The young victim was forced to hand over his phone around 8.25pm on March 21. The terrifying ordeal left the child visibly shaken.
Quick Arrest of Teen Suspect
Nottinghamshire Police swiftly detained a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of robbery shortly after the incident.
Police Issue Warning to Public
Detective Constable Laura Price slammed the crime, saying:
“This was an extremely serious offence that understandably left the young victim very distressed. It is simply unacceptable for anyone to behave in this way.”
“Robbery is a horrible crime with lasting emotional damage. That’s why we take all reports seriously.”
“We’ve arrested a suspect but inquiries continue. We urge anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.”
