Teen Slams Head After Woman Hurls Bottle on Dewsbury Train

A teenage boy was left bloodied after a woman threw a Peroni bottle at him on a train arriving at Dewsbury station.

Attack on Board at 9.20pm

The victim was travelling with friends at around 9.20pm on Sunday, 27 November. The woman, standing near the train doors, suddenly launched the bottle as the train pulled into the station.

The bottle smashed into the back of the teen’s head, causing a deep cut and heavy bleeding. He needed stitches following the nasty attack.

Police Hunt Angry Bottle Thrower

British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses. If you recognise the woman or have information, contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 465 of 27/11/22.
