Mystery Incident Sparks Heavy Police Response

A witness from nearby Portsdown Hill, who wished to stay anonymous, described the chaotic scene unfolding around 6.45pm. “I was walking past and saw the drama at the Mountbatten Centre, Alver Way,” they said.

“Blue lights flashed as police, two paramedic cars, an ambulance, and a police van all arrived. There was a person lying on the ground, with someone kneeling over them performing CPR. With that many officers around, it didn’t look good.”

Police Tight-Lipped as Investigation Underway

Hampshire police have yet to confirm what has happened or release any official statement. The area remains off-limits to the public as officers continue their enquiries.
