Man Arrested Over Stabbing Murder at Crossharbour DLR Station
Detectives from British Transport Police have arrested a man in connection with the shocking murder at Crossharbour DLR station.
21-Year-Old Held on Suspicion of Murder
This afternoon, officers detained a 21-year-old man from Tower Hamlets. He is currently in police custody and being questioned as part of the investigation.
Victim Dies After Stabbing Attack
The 19-year-old victim tragically died on Friday 10 July after being stabbed at the station. A second man was also injured in the same attack and is still receiving hospital treatment for his wounds.
Police Vow to Deliver Justice
“We have been working around the clock to trace those responsible for his death and this is a positive step in the ongoing investigation,” said BTP Detective Chief Inspector Paul Langley.
“I’d like to thank the victim’s family for their patience and strength. They continue to be supported by specially trained family liaison officers.”
