A teenager was snapped up by cops after a brazen armed robbery on a busy Dalston street.

At 11:34am on Sunday, 19 November, police raced to Kingsland High Street following reports of a snatched mobile phone.

Victim Confronts Thief – Suspect Pulls Gun

The victim didn’t back down and confronted the thief right after the mugging. But the suspect pulled a firearm, turning the situation deadly serious.

Chase Ends with Teen Arrested

Armed officers joined the hunt, tracking the suspect on foot through the streets. They caught a 16-year-old lad on Pellerin Road, N16, pinning him on charges of robbery and firearm possession.

Firearm and Phone Recovered

The youth was taken to an East London police station. Cops recovered both the stolen phone and the dangerous weapon.
