Brighton Bus Stop Fright: Teen Makes Violent Threats on 1X Bus

Police are hunting witnesses after a teenager caused alarm at a Brighton bus stop on Friday, December 13.

Threats and Abuse at Churchill Square

Between 9:30am and 10:00am, an 18-year-old allegedly made verbal threats involving a weapon towards members of the public waiting at Churchill Square bus stop. The same youth then followed a young boy onto the 1X bus heading to Brighton Marina. On the bus, he continued shouting abuse before storming off.

Suspect Description and Appeal for Info

  • About 6 feet tall
  • Mixed race
  • Curly curtain-style hair
  • Wearing a blue and red hoodie at the time
