Tragic Crash on A27 Claims India Buchanan

The family of 17-year-old India Buchanan has paid a heartfelt tribute after she died in a motorcycle collision in Worthing. The crash happened around 9.25pm on Friday, November 18, along the A27 at Crockhurst Hill, Salvington.

Family Remember India as Kind and Caring

India, from Rustington, was rushed to hospital but later died from her injuries. Her family described her as a “kind and caring 17-year-old with an infectious laugh” who always aimed to brighten others’ lives.

They added: “She was a motorcycle enthusiast and animal lover who adored her beloved cat Elsa. India will be forever missed as a daughter, sister, niece, and auntie to Dexter.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Specially trained officers are supporting the devastated family while continuing their investigation into the collision.

Sussex Police urge anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the time to come forward. Witnesses can report information online, call 101, or email [email protected], quoting Operation Loxton.
