Drugs Bust in Southampton: Three Arrested in Major Crackdown

Hampshire police swooped on a Colewell Close address this morning (October 2), nabbing three suspects linked to drug offences. Two men, aged 26 and 21, both from Camden, London, face charges over supplying Class A drugs.

A 24-year-old woman from Southampton was also arrested over similar allegations. All three remain in police custody.

Operation Fortress Targets Drug Dealers

This raid is part of Fortress, Hampshire Constabulary’s drive to slash drug-related harm across Southampton. The initiative works with local partners to protect vulnerable people and shut down dealers wrecking the community.

Police Say: “We’re Taking a Stand”

Chief Inspector Phil Lamb said: “We want residents to know we’re serious about tackling drug crime in our neighbourhoods. With community support and partner collaboration, we’re piecing together the reality on the ground.”

“Drug-related crime impacts daily lives massively, so we’re pushing hard to keep our communities safe.”
