Five Friends Go Missing After Nightclub Visit

Sophie Russon, 20, Eve Smith, 21, Darcy Ross, 21, and two men, Shane Loughlin and Rafel Jeanne-Actie, vanished after a night out at the Muffler nightclub in Newport, Wales last Friday.

Car Found, Three Dead and Two Seriously Injured

After a frantic search, Gwent Police discovered a car early Monday morning. Inside, three of the five missing friends were found dead, while two others were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Gwent Police confirmed, “Three of those reported missing have been found deceased, and two have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”

Car Plunged Off A48 in Fatal Crash

The group’s Volkswagen Tiguan was located soon after midnight on March 6, believed to have crashed off the A48. Police have not yet officially confirmed the identities of the deceased.

Ongoing Investigation and Family Support

Specialist officers are supporting the grieving families as inquiries continue. The woman’s car reportedly remains at the nightclub where the friends were last seen.
