A band of 15 travellers tried a cheeky overnight takeover of the D-Day Museum car park. But their bid to set up camp under cover of darkness has been swiftly shut down.
Council and Police Step In

Busy Weekend Turned Upside Down
Staff at the D-Day Museum were rattled. “This is one of our busiest weekends of the year,” said a spokesperson. “Hundreds of visitors are expected as tourists flock to the city to pay tribute and explore.”
With the travellers forced out, the car park is clear just in time for the weekend rush.
