Murder Probe Underway After Young Man Stabbed to Death
Police have arrested two suspects on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of 26-year-old Ayowale Aledejana. The attack took place at a home on Monson Road, New Cross.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Emergency services were called to the address at 7:26pm on Saturday, 2 August. Officers found Ayowale with multiple stab wounds. Despite desperate attempts by police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance medics, Ayowale tragically died at the scene.
Victim Identified as Local Man
Ayowale, a resident of South Norwood, was remembered by friends and family as a “bright young man.” The investigation is ongoing as police hunt for further suspects and piece together what led to this shocking killing.
