Two arrested in crackdown on drug supply and violent crime in Stockley and Westbury

Drug raids lead to multiple arrests

The Burglary and Youth and Gang Violence Unit, backed by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team, swooped on a Stockley address last Thursday (10/8).

A man in his 20s was nailed on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs. The bust didn’t stop there.

Second suspect caught in Westbury

Further investigations linked a second 20-something male to the case. Police arrested him in Westbury for supplying Class A and B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and a bladed article, plus dangerous driving.

Both suspects remain in custody, facing intense questioning.

Designer clothes seized during probe

The operation also uncovered a large stash of designer clothing, seized for further investigation.

Police vow to keep up the pressure

Sgt Mike Tripp said: “With the expertise and assistance of the Wiltshire Burglary YGV team, we will continue to target and disrupt individuals promoting criminal activity in our area.”

“We urge the community to report any suspicious behaviour immediately to help us crack down on crime.”
