Man Caught Trying Car Doors Before Shocking Assault in Calne
Wiltshire Police are hunting a creepy suspect after a bizarre sexual assault in Calne on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Man Seen Fiddling With Car Handles, Then Acts Strangely
At around 7:45pm to 8:00pm, a man was spotted trying car door handles on Curzon Street near Springfield Drive. He then stood smack in the middle of the road.
A woman, worried about his odd behaviour, approached him. Instead of getting a normal reaction, the man shocked her by repeatedly kissing her hand and forehead.
Police Describe Suspect
- White male
- Early 20s
- About 5ft 7ins tall
- Short dark hair with some stubble
- Wearing a full camouflage tracksuit
Call for Witnesses
Wiltshire Police urge anyone who witnessed this disturbing event or has dashcam footage from the area at the time to step forward.
