Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a nasty crash at Elston Cross, Churchstow left a woman fighting for her life.
Two Vehicles Collide in Mid-Morning Chaos
At 11.20am on Friday 19 December, emergency crews rushed to the scene of a collision between a silver Nissan Note and a green Ford Transit van on the busy A381.
70-Year-Old Passenger Hospitalised
A 70-year-old woman from Kingsbridge, passenger in the Nissan, was seriously hurt. She was rushed to Derriford Hospital and is now in a stable condition.
The Nissan’s driver, also in his 70s, and the two van occupants escaped with only minor injuries.
Police Urge Anyone with Info to Come Forward
The road was shut until 7pm as officers investigated and cleared the wreckage. Now, cops want anyone who saw the smash or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
