British Men Feared Murdered in Burning Car in Sweden
The families of two British men, Juan Cifuentes, 33, and Farooq Abdulrazak, 37, are desperately seeking answers. Both men have vanished after a grisly discovery in Malmö, Sweden, where emergency workers found two bodies in a blazing car.
Signs of Shooting Spark Murder Fears
Rescue teams stumbled upon the fiery Toyota Rav4 in an industrial zone on Sunday afternoon. Reports suggest one victim had a bullet wound, hinting at a possible shooting before the car was set ablaze.
Swedish police have not yet confirmed the identities but suspect the bodies could be those of the missing Britons. The case is now being investigated as a double murder, with forensic experts examining the remains.
Business Trip Ends in Nightmare
Cifuentes and Abdulrazak, both from North London, worked for a travel firm. They flew from Heathrow to Denmark and drove into Sweden, renting the Toyota at Copenhagen airport. CCTV caught three people in the car crossing the Öresund Bridge. The men were due back in the UK Sunday evening but disappeared without a trace.
Their families have launched an urgent social media plea for any information that might crack the case.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and Clues
Swedish detectives have sealed off the crime scene. “We are investigating this as a murder and interviewing witnesses,” police confirmed. The Foreign Office said they are supporting the families and liaising with Swedish authorities.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward and contact Swedish police immediately.
