Tragic Crash at Bicton: One Dead, Two Injured in Horror Collision
Emergency Called to Busy Junction
West Midlands Ambulance Service responded to a serious crash at 7.19pm near the junction of the A5 and A458 by Bicton. A passing ambulance arrived at 7.23pm, followed quickly by a second ambulance and a paramedic officer.
Fatal Injuries Confirmed at Scene
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service revealed, “On arrival, crews found two cars involved in a collision. The driver of the first car, a man, had suffered critical injuries and, despite every effort, was confirmed dead at the scene.”
Two Others Rushed to Hospital
She added, “The female passenger in the second car sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene. The male driver suffered injuries not believed to be serious. Both were rushed on blue lights to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for urgent treatment.”
