Chaos on Boughton Bypass After Serious Crash
Emergency services scrambled to the scene of a crash on the Boughton bypass this evening, bringing traffic grinding to a halt in both directions. The smash happened between the M2 and the Harbledown junction, causing major tailbacks on one of the area’s busiest roads.

By 8:45 pm, National Highways confirmed the road was clear and traffic was starting to flow again. However, tailbacks lingered, leaving frustrated drivers stuck in congestion for some time.
Kent Police Confirm Road Closure
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision on the A2 near Dunkirk. The road is closed in both directions between Brenley Corner and the A2050 at Harbledown while we manage the incident.”
