A35 SHUT DOWN: Major Crash Blocks Road Near Dorchester
The A35 in Dorset is completely closed both ways after a serious crash between the A352 Max Gate junction and B3150 Stinsford Roundabout, near Dorchester.

Official Diversion Routes in Place
Westbound and Southbound Diversion
- At Stinsford Roundabout, take the third exit onto B3150 Stinsford Hill toward Dorchester.
- Follow B3150 London Road west through Dorchester.
- Continue along B3150 Bridport Road to the St John Roundabout.
- At the first roundabout, take the second exit.
- At the next roundabout, take the first exit to stay on B3150 Middle Farm Way.
- Proceed to the next roundabout and take the first exit back onto Bridport Road.
- At the final roundabout, take the third exit to rejoin the A35 westbound.
- Note: Traffic for the A354 Weymouth should take the first exit onto A35 eastbound toward Stadium Roundabout.
Eastbound and Northbound Diversion
- Use local routes via A352 to Max Gate Roundabout.
- Take B3143 to the roundabout with B3144.
- Follow B3144 north to the junction with B3150.
- Turn right onto B3150 and continue to Stinsford Roundabout to rejoin A35.
