Charity Van Packed with Food Stolen in Heartless Heist on Sheppey

Shock as Food Van Swiped from Church Grounds

Thieves have heartlessly stolen a charity van loaded with food intended for vulnerable families on the Isle of Sheppey. The van, belonging to the Sheppey Support Bus run by Oasis Hub Isle of Sheppey, was taken from Holy Trinity Church in 123 spotted the van being driven away at 2am but assumed it was being moved legitimately.

Police Investigate – Community Urged to Help

Kent Police are investigating the theft. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting reference 02-0430.

Hope Still Alive Despite Setback

Despite the blow, Phil Greig remains hopeful and invites locals for tea and cake in Leysdown next Tuesday from 9.30am to 11am, saying: “I am very sorry for the news. Here’s hoping for a better 2025.”
