Wales Kicks Off Driving Lessons and Tests from Late July!
Driving Lessons Back on the Road from July 27
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and Welsh Government have given the green light for learner drivers and motorcyclists. Training resumes across Wales from Monday 27 July. This includes all types of driver and motorcycle training, even private practice with someone you live with.
Theory Tests Return on August 3
Theory tests are set to restart on Monday 3 August. All tests will follow strict physical distancing rules to keep coronavirus at bay.
Driving Tests Resume in August – Book Yours!
- Monday 3 August: Motorcycle, lorry, bus and coach, car and trailer, and tractor driving tests are back on.
- Monday 17 August: Car driving tests restart, giving learners vital time for refresher lessons and extra practice before the big day.
The phased return aims to get learners back behind the wheel safely and smoothly as Wales eases lockdown restrictions.
