Get ready, Portsmouth! Every Saturday and Sunday this summer, the Bandstand is the place to be for FREE live music from 1pm to 4pm. From May 27 to August 13, expect a blazing mix of genres and top acts lighting up your weekends – and yes, it’s all on the house!
Kick-Off Weekend: Urban Vibes and World Music Fiesta
- Sat 27 May: UVG – The Urban Vocal Group get the party started.
- Sun 28 May: World Music & Reggae Day with Kasai Masai, Los Hombres, Emiliyah & The MightyZ All Stars, plus DJs Sahara Rock and Mo Funk spinning the decks.
Tributes, Ska & 2 Tone, Swing, and More
- 4 June: Sounds of WWII with University of Portsmouth Big Band and The Three Belles.
- 17 June: Tribute Day featuring Kingz of Leon and AKA High Flying Birds.
- 18 June: Ska & 2 Tone shakedown with The Racketeers, Too Much 2Tone, and DJ Ray Andrews.
- 1 July: Ska, 2 Tone & Tom Waits tribute with Offbeat Offensive, Shoot The Duke, and The Silhouettes.
