A fierce fire tore through a two-storey semi-detached house, gutting the building and destroying half the roof of the neighbouring property. The fire broke out in the early hours, with the London Fire Brigade called at 2.21 a.m.

Before firefighters arrived, eight people escaped the burning home. Despite this, a man and a woman needed hospital treatment after inhaling smoke, with London Ambulance crews rushing to the scene.
Firefighters Battle Blaze Till Dawn
Crews from Willesden, West Hampstead, Park Royal, and nearby stations fought the flames, finally extinguishing the fire by 4.27 a.m.
