Katie Price Plans Move North After Second Bankruptcy

Katie Price, the former glamour model and TV star, is plotting a fresh start in the north of England. Following her recent second bankruptcy, the 45-year-old is rumoured to be eyeing a £2.5 million mansion in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The move would mark a decisive break from her infamous Mucky Mansion, which has long been mired in controversy.

£2.5 Million Dream Home in Wakefield

The Wakefield property is said to come with all the trimmings: a gym, cinema room, triple garage, and stunning views over a golf course. Katie, a mum of five, currently owes a hefty £761,994.05 to HMRC and other creditors.

A source close to Katie told The Sun: “Katie is sick of the Mucky Mansion and sees no future there now. She wants to move into her dream home and she reckons this could be it. Quite how it would work given her financial problems is a mystery, but she’s got it in her head this is happening.”

Financial Woes Cast Doubt on Move

Experts say it’s highly unlikely Katie will keep hold of her £2 million Mucky Mansion without “exceptional circumstances.” Additionally, money she’s earned since her 2019 bankruptcy will be scrutinised and could be seized to cover debts.

Katie found out about her latest bankruptcy in a public, podcast recording. She openly talked about her struggles and insisted, “Don’t think I sit here and don’t pay stuff, because I do.”

Struggling to Bail Out, Katie’s Renting Out West Sussex Home

In a bid to ease financial pressure, Katie tried renting out her West Sussex home for £6,000 a month – but there has been little interest. With her second bankruptcy looming large, all eyes remain on Katie as she battles to rebuild amid relentless public fascination.
