M2 Completely Shut After Serious Crash Between Sittingbourne and Faversham
The M2 motorway is closed in both directions following a major collision involving a car between Junction 5 (Sittingbourne/Stockbury Roundabout) and Junction 6 (Faversham). The smash happened earlier this evening (February 16, 2025) and has caused severe disruption for drivers.

- M2 Westbound: Blocked between J6 (Faversham) and J5 (Sittingbourne). Trapped traffic is slowly being released from the back of the queue.
- M2 Eastbound: Fully closed between J5 and J6 to allow emergency crews, including the Air Ambulance, to attend the scene.

- Exit at J5 and take the A249 towards Maidstone.
- Join the M20 Eastbound at J7 and exit at J8.
