Huge Blaze Erupts on Tranker Lane, Worksop Sparks Massive Emergency Response
A major fire has broken out on Tranker Lane in Worksop, dragging in fire crews from three counties in a dramatic afternoon showdown with the flames.

The blaze was first reported just after 2pm on Friday, 9 May. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service launched a large-scale operation, calling for backup from South Yorkshire and Derbyshire teams.
Firefighters from Worksop, Edwinstowe, Warsop, and Ashfield stations are battling the fire together, racing against time to bring it under control.

“We’ve received a large number of calls regarding a fire on Tranker Lane, Worksop. Firefighters from across three counties are in attendance,” said a spokesperson for the Joint Fire Control Room.
Luckily, no injuries have been reported so far, but the cause of the fire remains a mystery.
Public Warned to Stay Clear
Residents nearby are urged to keep windows and doors shut because of drifting smoke. Authorities are advising people to avoid the area as crews continue tackling the blaze.
