Man Rushed to Hospital After Horror Crash in Longton
A man was rushed to hospital last night following a serious road traffic collision in Longton.
Emergency Crews Race to Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service received the call at 9.51pm and quickly dispatched two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and two BASICS doctors. The first responders arrived within five minutes to find a pedestrian and a van involved in the crash on King Street.
Critical Condition Pedestrian Receives Life-Saving Treatment
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “The pedestrian, a man, was in a critical condition. Ambulance crews immediately began advanced life support and trauma care at the scene.”
The man was then rushed on blue lights to Royal Stoke University Hospital, with a BASICS doctor providing vital treatment during the journey.
