Man Hospitalised After Brawl Outside McDonald’s in Plumstead

A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after a nasty fight erupted outside a McDonald’s on Pettman Crescent, Plumstead, late Wednesday night.

Violent Altercation at Popular SE28 Fast-Food Spot

The scuffle broke out at around 9:30pm on 9 April near the busy McDonald’s branch in SE28. Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance crews arrived swiftly at the scene.

Officers found the victim with injuries to his hand and face. Thankfully, medics confirmed his wounds are non-life threatening. He was taken to hospital for treatment and assessment.

Police Appeal for Witnesses After McDonald’s Brawl

“Police were called at around 21:30hrs on Wednesday, 9 April to reports of an altercation near a restaurant in Pettman Crescent, SE28. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and a man in his 20s was treated for injuries to his hand and face. He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-changing. No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries remain ongoing.” – Metropolitan Police spokesperson
