A man has been jailed for three years and one month after attacking two people with a weapon outside Bradford College.

David Noutch, 32, of no fixed abode, carried out the attack on Great Horton Road in Bradford on October 9, 2025.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called at around 9.21am following reports of a man armed with a small gardening tool attacking people in the street.

Noutch was detained by security staff from Bradford College before police arrived and arrested him.

Two people were injured during the incident and received treatment for injuries which were not life-threatening.

Noutch later admitted a number of offences, including common assault, racially aggravated common assault, two counts of racially aggravated fear of violence and threatening a person with a blade in a public place.

He was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on Wednesday, October 14, to three years and one month in prison.
