Tributes pour in as police hunt for answers after cyclist killed on M3 near Fleet.
Cyclist Dies in Deadly M3 Crash
Tragedy struck on the M3 southbound near Fleet. At around 10.40pm on May 5, emergency crews were called to a collision involving a car and a cyclist between junction 4a and Fleet Services.
52-year-old Simon Wagner, a chartered accountant, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police continue to investigate the fatal crash.
Family Pays Tearful Tribute
Simon’s family say he was “the best husband anyone could wish for and an irreplaceable dad to three children.” They described him as a “precious son, brother, and uncle.”
“Simon had a warm and generous heart, loved life, and made friends wherever he went,” they said. “His sudden and tragic death is a terrible shock to everyone lucky enough to have known him.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
