Urgent Appeal: Missing Woman and Her Dog Vanish Near Wokingham
Thames Valley Police are desperately hunting for 61-year-old Sharon Childerhouse, who went missing during a dog walk in rural Wokingham.
Last Seen at Cloud Stables with Her Springer Spaniel
Sharon was spotted around 2.30pm near Cloud Stables, Arborfield, walking her beloved brown and white Springer Spaniel, Barney. The pooch never leaves her side, making their disappearance all the more worrying.
What She Was Wearing and Where She Might Be
- Blonde bob with fringe
- Blue jeans
- Blue wellington boots
She was without her mobile phone and is known to roam the rural Edneys Hill area. But police warn she could have wandered much further.
Police Concerned for Sharon’s Safety as Night Falls
“We are really concerned for Sharon’s welfare as she’s been missing for several hours and is not dressed for the dropping temperatures,” said Inspector Fiona Pearce from Reading police station. “She may be disoriented in the dark and unaware of her location. She is due medication at 9pm, and time is critical.”
“It’s out of character for Sharon to disappear like this. Barney is likely with her,” the inspector added.
