Massive Fire Erupts at Romford Industrial Estate
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters are battling a huge blaze at an industrial estate on Hainault Road, Romford. The fire broke out just before 9pm on Wednesday evening, engulfing a two-storey industrial unit.
No Injuries Reported Amid Fiery Chaos
Luckily, no injuries have been reported so far. Fire crews from Romford and nearby stations quickly sprang into action to contain the fire. Commanders split the operation into three sectors to tackle the inferno efficiently.
Specialist Gear and Arson Squad Called In
A specialist aerial ladder and multiple hose reels are being used to fight the flames. Two command units have also been deployed to coordinate the fight. Meanwhile, safety officers and the London Fire Brigade’s arson task force are on site investigating the cause of the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under active investigation.
