Six-Vehicle Smash Closes M27 Near Eastleigh
A major crash involving six vehicles has brought chaos to the M27 just outside Eastleigh tonight. Emergency crews have descended on the scene, slamming shut two of the four southbound lanes.
Traffic Nightmare Between Junctions 11 and 12
All southbound lanes were briefly shut after the collision near junction 11 (Winchester South) and junction 12 (Eastleigh) just after 7.20pm on Thursday. The partial closure is causing long tailbacks for motorists heading home.
Injuries Unknown, Ambulance Services Respond
So far, it’s unclear if anyone has been hurt. The South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust confirmed they were called at 7.06pm but reported no injuries at the scene.
