Crash Chaos on M25! A nasty smash at just after 8:50am has snarled the M25 anticlockwise between junctions 29 and 30 near South Ockendon, Essex.
Three Injured, One Trapped
Emergency services rushed in to find three people hurt. Firefighters battled to free one trapped driver, while paramedics jumped in for roadside treatment. All three victims were rushed to Basildon University Hospital where their conditions are being checked.
“We are at the scene of a collision on the M25 between junctions 29 and 30 on the anti-clockwise carriageway. It was reported three vehicles were involved in a collision at about 8.50am, leaving one person with injuries and another person trapped in their vehicle,” said an Essex Police spokesperson.
Emergency Response and Aftermath
Paramedics treated a woman at the scene while firefighters got another person out of their car. The road was partly blocked during the rescue, causing huge delays.
The East of England Ambulance Service deployed three ambulances and an officer vehicle. A spokesperson confirmed:
“Three patients were transported to Basildon University Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
Rush Hour Gridlock Cleared
The crash created severe congestion during the busy morning rush, with traffic diversions in place while crews cleared the wreckage. Thankfully, all closures have now been lifted and traffic is back to normal.
Drivers are warned to check traffic reports before they head out and allow plenty of extra travel time during peak hours.
