Fire Erupts at Tottenham Football Club During COVID Vaccination Clinic

Fire crews raced to Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium this morning after a blaze broke out in an office on the second floor. Around 300 people were swiftly evacuated from the building, which is currently hosting a COVID-19 vaccination centre.

Quick Response from Firefighters

The alarm was raised just before 11am on Thursday, with firefighters from Tottenham Fire Station arriving promptly. The blaze was brought under control within the hour, by 10:59am. Two fire engines tackled the incident on High Road.

No Injuries as Compressor Damaged

A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade confirmed the fire damaged an air compressor. Thanks to a fast evacuation by on-site staff, no injuries were reported. The nine-storey building was cleared of people quickly and safely.
