Koh Phangan police acted swiftly. By Saturday night, Vijay Dadasaheb, 47, and Rahul Balasaheb, 40, were arrested and charged.

Pol Col Apichart Chansamret, chief of Koh Phangan police, revealed Dadasaheb confessed to the rape. Balasaheb denies the charge but admits hugging and kissing the woman on the cheek, claiming he stopped when she resisted.
Police have yet to disclose forensic evidence or witness details. Both men remain in custody as the investigation presses on.
