Lorry Driver Facing Jail after using Mobile that Killed Two Best Friend

A Lorry driver who broken down in tears has admitting killing two men in Southampton before a Judge at Southampton Court after his truck ploughed into an other lorry crushing a car that contained two best friends and injuring a third who was a lorry driver. The Three lorries and a car were involved in the crash last year on the M271 in Southampton in December 2015. The lorry driver crashed while using his mobile phone has admitted causing the deaths of the two friends. Keith Mees, 49, of Pingle Farm Road, Derbyshire, pleaded guilty to two counts of causing death by dangerous driving. He will be sentenced on 2 December at Southampton Crown Court. He also admitted causing serious injury to one of the lorry drivers by dangerous driving.
