Armed Police deployed to Oldham Hospital after reports of Man with a Gun

Oldham town council has denied reports there is a gunman outside the Royal Hospital amid swirling social media reports. We contacted the hospital and they confirmed they were on lockdown, although security refused to disclose any more details. Laura Bailey-Wood wrote on Facebook: “DO NOT COME to Oldham Hospital I’m currently inside… Man outside with GUN.” It follows reports that at least 19 people have been killed following an explosion at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena on Monday evening, according to Greater Manchester Police. Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that 19 people have been killed and around 50 injured in the blast. They have also confirmed that the blast, which happened outside the venue in a public area, is currently being treated as a terrorist incident until police know otherwise. https:///youtu.be/TdFvpt6mqkc
