Car Hits Embankment and flips on A331 Blackwater Bypass near Aldershot

Police have closed one lane of the A331 Blackwater by pass this evening after a car hit the embankment and rolled several times. Police from both Hampshire and Surrey are at the incident that is on the Eastbound carriage between Aldershot and Farnborough. A rapid response paramedic and an ambulance have also been sent to the scene. The driver is being treated at the scene in the back of an ambulance. Police have closed part of the A331 to carry out accident investigation work and to aid recovery of the vehicle. It is understood that the incident happened just after 9pm this evening and involved a single vehicle.
