Fire Rage at Heaven’s Kitchen: Man Pleads Guilty to Arson and Assault

Blaze Erupts at Farnham Restaurant

A fire ripped through Heaven’s Kitchen restaurant in Farnham in the early hours of Sunday, March 10. Police were called at 3am after flames spread from the restaurant to the flats above, sparking panic in the neighbourhood.

No Injuries But Serious Charges Laid

Miraculously, no one was hurt during the blaze. But Giovanni Dell-Anno, 37, with no fixed address, was swiftly arrested. He faces eight charges including arson with intent to endanger life, arson recklessly endangering life, burglary of a non-dwelling, four counts of malicious communications, and assault by beating.

Guilty Plea and Custody

Dell-Anno has pleaded guilty to all charges. He remains in custody and is due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on April 11, 2019, where sentencing will take place.
